Homeschool planning doesn’t have to be complicated but you can choose to be as detailed as you like. I do encourage you to choose a system that flows easily with your family’s lifestyle and schedule. You might not have enough experience to sit down and map out a whole years worth of activities, by curriculum, with complimentary field trips. Don’t let that discourage you and don’t force yourself to reinvent the wheel. Here is a simplified system to easily follow and replicate annually. Identify your homeschoolers grade level by age or assessment, then aim to meet them where they are based on your state guidelines and requirements, adjust as need. Track manually or virtually.
